Peer Review Process Link | https://mf-journal.com/Manuscriptevaluationprocess |
Peer Review Policy | Modern Finance’s manuscript evaluation process begins with an initial review by the Editor-in-Chief to ensure alignment with the journal’s scope and technical standards, rejecting those that don’t meet ethical or quality criteria. Eligible submissions proceed to a double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers, ensuring objectivity and confidentiality. Based on the reviews, authors may receive a decision of acceptance, minor or major revision, or rejection, with final decisions approved by the Editor-in-Chief. Authors can appeal editorial decisions by submitting a request within 30 days, which the Editor-in-Chief reviews, consulting additional experts if needed. Accepted manuscripts then go through copyediting, pagination, and publication, with all key dates recorded on the journal’s website. This thorough, transparent process maintains quality and fairness in publishing. |
