Complaint Policy
Submitting a formal appeal for rejected submissions is allowed to authors. To initiate an appeal, authors are required to make a written request to contact@rimj.org with the term “appeal” mentioned in the subject line. This appeal should encompass comprehensive reasons along with point-by-point responses addressing the comments provided by the reviewers and/or Academic Editor. It’s important to note that decisions on appeals are ultimately conclusive and are not subject to further review. Considering that priority is given to new submissions, it’s possible that the appeal process might take longer than the initial submission process.

Peer Review Policy
Razi International Medical Journal employs a robust peer-review policy where editorial decisions are based on reviewer and author arguments. The journal follows a double-blinded peer-review process to maintain anonymity. The peer-review process involves manuscript evaluation for novelty and interest, with editors selecting experts for comprehensive review. Decision outcomes include acceptance, revisions, resubmission, or decline. Authors can appeal rejections, though effectiveness varies. Reviewers’ comments are transparent, emphasizing constructive feedback. The journal is committed to efficient processing, expecting prompt reviewer responses. Plagiarism is rigorously addressed using Turnitin, with immediate rejection if misconduct is detected, and post-publication actions taken if needed.
