Res Rhetorica

Submitted manuscripts of research papers must be the original work of the author(s), and may not have been previously published or currently under consideration by any other journal or publisher, inclusive of on-line publications. Submissions must be uploaded to Res Rhetorica’s Open Journal System OJS. Manuscripts are subjected to double blind peer review. Basing on two reviews, contributions can be rejected, allowed to be modified to account for minor editorial changes, or, in case of more complex modifications, re-submitted.
Manuscripts based on a diploma thesis need a statement of acceptance from the thesis adviser. The authors should also specify the funding sources related to the publication, such as national and international grants, grants from foundations, associations or commercial institutions.
If a manuscript is co-authored, the authors must indicate the scope of their contribution to the work (if it is not equal). The detection of ghost authorship, guest or honorary authorship results in notification of the relevant actors (institutions employing the authors, societies, editors’ associations, etc.). The author who submits the manuscript bears the responsibility for providing the required information.
In case of non-peer-reviewed texts published (e.g., reviews, reactions, reports) texts are assessed by section editors and issue editors before they are accepted.
