Results of OASPA Board of Directors Election 2016

Members of the OASPA Board of Directors serve for a term of 3 years and this September three of the current OASPA Board Members reach the end of their term of service.

In keeping with our annual election process, OASPA member organisations were invited to put a candidate forward to the OASPA Nominations Committee earlier in the year.

As previously, details of the candidates were circulated to members who where then asked to choose three from the list of nominees and to vote for them in no particular order.  The candidates who received the highest number of votes in the election were Peter Binfield, Lars Bjørnshauge and Mark Patterson, who also happen to be this year’s outgoing board members.

According to the association’s By Laws, board members ending their term are eligible for re-election, consecutively or otherwise, without limitation.  Peter, Lars and Mark are therefore re-elected to the board and OASPA is pleased to have their continued involvement.

We are very grateful to all of those who took part in the election this year.
