Publication Charge Policy	The base APC for articles submitted after 1 October 2018 is $4,500. Several discounts are available and tax may be assessed depending on your location, but is not applicable for all customers. AAAS automatically waives the entire APC of corresponding authors who have indicated they are from a country in the developing world (Hinari A & B countries). Additionally, full or partial waivers may be available to those authors experiencing financial hardships.

Peer Review Policy	Dr. Holden Thorp is the Editor-in-Chief of Science Advances, supported by a team Deputy and Associate Editors drawn from an international pool of researchers. The journal also has a Managing Editor and several full-time Editorial Coordinators. Papers sent out for review are assessed by at least two, and often three, subject matter experts before any decision is rendered. Reviewers are blinded to the author as well as each other. The final decision to accept or reject a manuscript is at the discretion of the Deputy Editor.
