The Society’s 16 distinguished scientific journals are dedicated to the advancement of physiological research, which has formed the basis for many biomedical advances. These highly regarded, peer-reviewed journals examine major physiological systems from the cellular and molecular to the organ and system level and meet the needs of research investigators, educators, and information specialists interested in the physiological sciences. APS journals are published and distributed by APS. Physiology, formerly News in Physiological Sciences, is jointly owned by APS and the International Union of Physiological Sciences. Physiological Reports, an open access journal, is jointly owned by the APS and The Physiological Society, and published on the Societies’ behalf by Wiley.
