Publication Charge Policy | There are no subscription fees for Open Access journals. Most journals charge the authors (or their institution or funding body) a single Article Processing Charge (APC) per accepted article, ranging from CHF0 to CHF3,360. APCs support publishing service costs. APCs are not charged until a paper is accepted for publication and do not affect any editorial decisions. Authors from certain lower- and lower-middle-income countries automatically receive an APC waiver or discount. |
