Initiatives | Lyrasis brings together several critical open source infrastructures and open content initiatives in one place. Open technology infrastructures and hosting services include ArchivesSpace, CollectionSpace, DSpace, Fedora, and Islandora. Lyrasis also serves as the United States community home for three consortial programs designed to lower the barrier of participation for libraries of different sizes, missions, and constituencies to use open research infrastructure best practices. These programs include the ORCID US Community, the Lyrasis DataCite US Community (for DOIs), and the IRUS (Institutional Repository Usage Statistics) US Community. Finally, Lyrasis supports a variety of Open Access (OA) content initiatives and programs that create inclusive opportunities for diverse institutions to engage with an evolving scholarly communication and publishing landscape in support of bibliodiversity. A list of these initiatives is available here: https://www.lyrasis.org/content/Pages/Open-Access-Programs.aspx |
